According to the foreign media VideoCardz, a software engineer with the ID Patrick Shur shared information about AMD’s upcoming Zen 3 desktop CPU. He said that the naming of the Zen3 series will go beyond the 4000 series and adopt the 5000 series naming, so that the desktop and mobile terminals can agree on naming.

Patrick also said that he found information about two new AMD processors that will be launched, namely Ryzen 9 5900X and Ryzen 7 5800X processors, with 12 cores and 8 cores respectively.

Foreign media said that Zen3 will make major improvements in the architecture, focusing on performance per watt, with higher IPC, 8 cores per CCX, with a new IO chip and better memory controller.

AMD announced that it will launch the Zen3 desktop processor on October 8. Please pay attention to the detailed report of IT House.
