Apple Apple Watch Series 6 supports 5GHz Wi-Fi, the connection is more stable

Apple Watch Series 6 was released yesterday, bringing many much-needed new improvements.

Apple Watch Series 6 does include a lot of hardware upgrades. But one detail missing is that Apple Watch Series 6 also supports 5GHz Wi-Fi.

Upgrades such as these are usually not noticed, but upgrading to the newer 5GHz Wi-Fi is definitely a good thing. The previous model only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. 5GHz Wi-Fi has better, more stable connectivity, faster data rates and can provide a better overall experience.

Maintaining a stable connection is particularly important for Apple Watch, which relies on the iPhone, because the fewer disconnects, the smoother and seamless experience can be provided.

It needs to be pointed out that Apple Watch Series 6 is the only model to get this better Wi-Fi support, because the Apple Watch SE released with it only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.

Apple Watch S6 will begin accepting orders today, and will be officially released on September 20, starting at 3199 yuan.
