Due to the iPhone 12 series bounce, this year iPad Air 4 first released Apple’s 5nm process A14 processor, but now the new iPhone 12 equipped with A14 processor AnTuTu running score has been exposed.
According to AnTuTu, a device with a model of iPhone 13,4 appeared in its back-end database. The screen size and processor frequency of the new machine cannot be recognized yet, but the screen resolution is 2688×1242, and iPhone 11 Pro Max remains the same, so it is speculated that the true identity of the new machine should be the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Naijatechnews learned that this device codenamed iPhone 13, 4 is equipped with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. For comparison, the memory capacity of iPhone 11 Pro Max is 4GB, and the storage space starts at 64GB, and there is no 128GB version.
In terms of running points, the current total score of this device is 572,333, of which CPU score is 167527, GPU score is 222071, MEM score is 100808, and UX score is 81927. Compared with the average score of the iPhone 11 Pro Max, the total score has increased by 9.1%, the CPU score has increased by 16.7%, the GPU score has increased by 3.6%, the storage score has increased by 21.9%, and the UX score has dropped by 2.1%.
According to Apple’s official statement, the A14 processor has a 40% increase in CPU performance and a 30% increase in GPU performance compared to the A12 processor; and the A13 processor has a 20% increase in CPU performance and a 20% increase in GPU performance compared to the A12 processor; Compared with A13, the CPU performance of the A14 processor is about 16.7%, and the GPU performance is about 8.3%.
Antutu pointed out that the UX performance is significantly affected by the refresh rate, but the UX performance of the iPhone 12 Pro Max is not improved compared to the iPhone 11 Pro Max. Therefore, the iPhone 12 Pro Max is most likely to have a 60Hz screen and miss 120Hz.
Judging from the running scores of this exposure, the improvement of the A14 relative to the A13 is indeed not significant, especially in terms of GPU. Of course, the current running scores may not represent the real performance of the A14, and the phone needs to be updated after the launch. More tests can make a conclusion.
