Apple’s iPhone SE 3 has been in the news for a while now. According to a latest report from Bloomberg, Apple is preparing for its first virtual event of 2022 in March or April. At the event, the company’s is gearing up to unveil the new iPhone SE model along with other devices such as new 27-inch iMac and high-end Mac mini models with M1 Pro and M1 Max chips.

Earlier rumors said that the new iPhone SE will be powered by A14 / A15 Bionic processor and come with 5G support. It is expected to retain the same design as the SE 2 with a Touch ID sensor embedded into the Home Button.

It was also reported that 2022 iPhone would be marketed as the “Apple’s cheapest 5G iPhone ever”, so this could retain the $399 price tag of the iPhone SE 2 that was introduced in 2020. There are also rumors for the iPhone SE Plus name.

A rumor from last week said that the iPhone SE 4 will arrive only in 2024, but with a larger 6-inch LCD, Face ID support, punch-hole front camera and of course, 5G capabilities

For the WWDC in June which will also likely be a virtual event, it should introduce iOS 16 (Sydney), tvOS 16 (Paris), macOS 13 (Rome), and watchOS 9 (Kincaid).
