Apple recalls some AirPods Pro earphones, Luxshare Precision gets partial transfer orders

According to the “Science Innovation Board Daily” report, Apple issued an announcement on October 30 to recall some AirPods Pro headsets. Apple announced that some of this headset has cracking or static noise, and the active noise reduction function does not work properly.

According to the report, it was learned from the supply chain that Apple’s move unexpectedly caused Luxshare Precision to recall some headset transfer orders, and the production capacity was scheduled to January 2021. Luxshare Precision participates in the assembly of AirPods Pro and is also a supplier of Apple headphone connectors and some structural parts. has learned that Apple previously stated that Apple or Apple Authorized Service Providers will repair the affected AirPods Pro (left, right or both earphones) for free. Apple also said that this Apple global plan will not extend the standard warranty coverage of AirPods Pro. Consumer law rights are not affected by this plan. This plan provides protection for the affected AirPods Pro, and the validity period is 2 years from the date of the first retail sale of the device.
