Apple releases macOS 10.15.6 supplementary update: iCloud/WiFi fixes included
According to 9to5mac, Apple today released another supplemental update to macOS 10.15.6, which includes performance improvements and bug fixes. Specifically, this update resolves WiFi and iCloud issues reported by some users .
After Apple released the latest macOS 10.15.6 supplementary update in August, the update was released today. Today’s update includes a fix for an iCloud Drive issue that prevents files from syncing properly, and it also resolves a bug that prevented the Mac from automatically connecting to a WiFi network.
Users can go to “System Preferences”> “Software Update” to check if the update is available.
Naijatechnews understands that the macOS 10.15.6 supplementary update released this time is the internal version number 19G2531 . It is worth noting that it appears in the release channel on the Apple Developer website, but it has a Beta suffix in the “System Preferences” of the Catalina beta version.
It is not clear whether Apple accidentally marked it as a public release or whether it was only slowly rolling out to non-Beta users.
