Apple watchOS 10.2 Beta 3 reintroduces “swipe to switch watch faces” option

Apple released the watchOS 10.2 Beta 3 preview update (internal version number: 21S5349e) yesterday, 5 days after the last release.

Source @aaronp613 dug into the code and found that in this version update, Apple has reintroduced the function of sliding to switch watch faces.

It was reported in September this year that watchOS 10 changed some interaction methods, one of which involves switching watch faces.

In watchOS 10, switching watch faces requires long-pressing the watch face and then sliding or scrolling the Digital Crown to view or edit the available watch faces. The side-to-side swipe gesture to switch watch faces is no longer supported.

After upgrading to watchOS 10.2 Beta 3, Apple Watch users can find the “Swipe to switch watch faces” option under Settings->Clock.
