ASUS announced the world’s first 360Hz refresh rate gaming monitor at CES 2020 earlier this year. This monitor will be available in September and will cost $699 (about 4800 yuan).
ASUS ROG Swift PG259QN uses a 24.5-inch 1080p Fast IPS panel. Its LCD element “turns on and off at 4 times faster than a traditional IPS panel.” It provides an ultra-smooth experience with a 1ms GTG response time, provides a refresh rate of up to 360Hz, and also supports NVIDIA G-SYNC .
It is reported that the ASUS engineering team used a custom radiator to keep the ROG Swift PG259QN cool, enabling it to reach 360Hz.
Naijatechnews understands that the monitor also supports HDR10, HDCP, 400 cd/㎡, VESA100 wall mount, GamePlus hotkey, non-flicker, ultra-low blue light, and ergonomic design. It has an intelligent cooling system and a customized model of large radiator. It supports ±25° rotation, -5°~20° tilt, 0~90° pivot rotation, and is equipped with DP1.4, HDMI 2.0, USB3.0 and other interfaces.
