Asustek released several Windows 11 laptops at CES 2022. At the same time, the company also announced a powerful new Chromebook.
The ASUS Chromebook Flip CX5 (CX5601) is equipped with a 16-inch display . Due to the powerful configuration, it seems to be a very interesting product for the Chromebook.
The Chromebook Flip CX5 is equipped with a 16-inch full HD display and supports touch screen. The aspect ratio is 16:10 and the screen-to-body ratio is 87%. It has a 360-degree ErgoLift hinge that enables the device to be used in tablet mode .
The device is equipped with the latest 12th generation Intel Core i7 processor and vPro technology, and is equipped with up to 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage.
The machine is also equipped with a splash-proof backlit keyboard with 1.4 mm key travel and a numeric keypad on the right. There is also a large touchpad with a diagonal length of 5.84 inches.
In addition, the machine has four Harman Kardon certified speakers . In terms of interfaces, the machine is equipped with two Thunderbolt 4 , an HDMI 2.0, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot.
Naijatechnews understands that the device has a shell that has passed MIL-STD 810H military standard testing and supports Wi-Fi 6E wireless connections. It also has a full HD webcam and privacy switch to turn off the camera when not in use.
Currently, Asustek has not disclosed the pricing or exact availability of the Chromebook Flip CX5 (CX5601), and it is expected to be available in the next few months.
