Google released the Android 12 system in the keynote speech at the opening ceremony of I/O 2021, and now the first public beta version of the system has been launched. The Android 12 public beta is currently available for Google’s Pixel phones (Pixel 3 and above), as well as phones from OnePlus, Lenovo, Asus, OPPO, Realme, Sharp, Tecno, TCL, vivo, Xiaomi and ZTE. Users can register Pixel phones on Google’s Android test site, or find specific installation instructions for other supported phones on the Android developer page.
Android12 brings a lot of new features, the most exciting is the new visual effects . In addition to new animations, widgets, and a modified lock screen, Android 12 also provides a theming function. You can change the colors used by the entire operating system by simply changing the wallpaper. Not all visual changes will appear in this first beta, it should be rolled out gradually.
Google is also adjusting other aspects of the Android experience, such as notifications and quick settings. Some improvements have also been made to privacy and security. The app will have indicators when using the phone’s camera or microphone, and it’s easier to access the various permissions of all apps on one dashboard.

How to install the Android12 beta version?
For Pixel phones, first visit the Android 12 beta website and register your phone to the beta version. When you click “View Eligible Devices”, you should be able to find your phone. After registering the device, the phone should receive a beta update reminder within a few minutes. If you want to check for updates manually, you can open the settings menu on your phone, then go to System> System Update, and click “Check for Updates”.
As for other brands of mobile phones such as OnePlus, realme, etc., please follow the official Google instructions page of the supported mobile phones , because the installation process seems to vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, and most of them require Fastboot to flash.
