Google I / O developers conference will start next week. Among many other things, the search engine giant will be talking about is the new version of its operating system – Android 12. While we are few days away from the announcement, the popular blogger John Prosser has shared an official video online dedicated to Android 12. He also leaked images of the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.
The new version of the green robot will bring a fairly significantly redesigned user interface that will offer built-in support for themes, and the user will be able to make the device more personalized. A redesigned keyboard, new notifications, app icons, and a redesigned system app can transform the look and feel depending on the theme you choose. Among other things, the developers have updated animations throughout the user interface, making it smoother and more visually pleasing.
The video does not yet give a complete picture of what the Android 12 operating system will be like, but it seems that Google is preparing to seriously redesign it, to make it more harmonious in appearance. The company also says the firmware will bring a “great new experience” that will offer users “enhanced privacy and security protections”.
Google may also start pushing the Android ecosystem more aggressively with this update. One slide says “all your devices work better together,” which speaks in favor of tighter integration with smart home products and wearables.
Google I / O
Last year, the Google I / O developer conference was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, this will not happen this year. The annual Google event will take place online from May 18-20; and will be completely free for anyone who wants to watch the digging events.
