Huawei officially released HarmonyOS 2 on June 2, and since then, it has been working on this system for multiple devices. And now, Huawei’s consumer business CEO, Yu Chengdong, announced the latest developments with HarmonyOS development.
He revealed that at present, the number of devices equipped with HarmonyOS has exceeded 220 million. At the Huawei Developer Conference held on October 22, Chengdong announced that so far, the number of HarmonyOS devices has exceeded 150 million. HarmonyOS has become the fastest-growing terminal operating system in history.
So far, there have been no significant issues with the HarmonyOS 2. It appears that Huawei is doing well with the development and release of this new system. However, this system is not available outside China for now. When this system rolls out globally, then we can properly access the workability of this system.
In a recent interview in Romania, Derek Yu, head of Huawei’s consumer business in the region, said that global users will get HarmonyOS in 2022.
