How to Change Your Spotify Email Address

Whether you have a new email address, or you’d simply like to use a different one, it’s easy to change your email in your Spotify account. We’ll show you how to do that.

Note: As of the writing in December 2021, you can’t change your email address from the Spotify mobile or desktop app; you will have to use the Spotify website. Also, you can’t change your email address if you used your Facebook account to sign in to Spotify. In that case, you’ll need to disconnect your Spotify account from Facebook.

Update Your Email Address on Spotify

To start the email update process, open a web browser on your device and launch the Spotify site. Sign in to your account on the site.

Once you are signed in, in Spotify’s top-right corner, click Profile > Account.

On the “Account Overview” page, click “Edit Profile.”

You are now on the “Edit Profile” page. Here, to change your email address, click the “Email” field and type the new email address. Click the “Password” field and type your current Spotify password.

Then, save your changes by clicking “Save Profile” at the bottom of the page.

And that’s it. Your Spotify email address has now been changed. You will now use your newly entered email address to log in to your account on your devices. Enjoy!
