Chinese manufacturing giant, Huawei, has been rolling out its new HarmonyOS for Huawei and Honor smartphones. The rollout has been massive over the past three months, and very old devices also got this update.
Now, Huawei held a new smart office product launch. Yu Chengdong took the stage and after the release of a plethora of devices, he made an announcement relating to HarmonyOS. Yu Chengdong announced that the number of HarmonyOS 2 upgrade users now exceeds 100 million.
Huawei said, “thank you for having you, and hope to continue to have you in the future. In the future, we will not forget our original intention and strive to provide you with the ultimate full-scene experience”.
The 100 million users is a new milestone for Huawei’s HarmonyOS 2 update. According to reports, hundreds of models have been upgraded to Huawei HarmonyOS 2 in succession. In the near future, Huawei HarmonyOS 2 will be open to upgrades for more models, including many old smartphones and tablets from Huawei and Honor. Considering the speed at which it reached the 100 million milestones, Huawei raised its target of 300 million units to 400 million units.
