Ori and the Will of the Wisps – All Feats and Skills

A total of 20 skills can be learned in Ori and the Will of the Wisps. To do this, you need to find special trees scattered in different locations, and also go to the merchant. In our guide, we’ll tell you where to find them.

Ink swamp

Five skills can be found in this location. The location of the trees is marked with numbers on the map below:

  1. Blade of the spirit

This ability allows you to melee attacks with your lightsaber. You will unlock it as you progress through the story after defeating Howl.

  1. Double jump

Double Jump is one of the most useful skills that you will use all the time. Try to get it as soon as possible.

  1. Recovery

Thanks to this ability, you will be able to heal with energy. This tree will appear at the indicated location after you defeat Howl and return here on the way back from his lair.

  1. Arc of spirits

This skill allows you to shoot arrows of light. Very useful in the early stages of the game in the fight against flying enemies, as well as for knocking down energy crystals from the ceiling. You will gain access to it after you repair the mill and purify the poisonous water.

  1. Light of the ancestors

Kvolok Gorge

In this location, you can find two skill trees and get one skill in the story. Their location is marked with numbers on the map below:

  1. Dash

This skill allows you to dash forward while in the air. Combined with the double jump, it will open up new heights for you.

  1. Impulse

With this skill, you will be able to use lights, projectiles and enemies to make the jump. It will also allow you to redirect enemies (including fish) and projectiles to destroy purple walls. To do this, the arrow must point in the opposite direction from the wall.

  1. Swing

Thanks to this skill, you will be able to soar in the air and climb on air currents. You will get it according to the plot.

Spring fields

Six more skills can be purchased from Ofer in the Spring Fields. Two of them (“Spirit Shock” and “Underwater Breathing”) are very useful, try to buy them as soon as possible. You can find the Ofer here:

  1. Turret

This skill summons a spirit sphere near you to attack enemies.

  1. Star of spirits

Thanks to this skill, you will be able to throw forward a star that comes back to you.

  1. Flame

Using this skill, you begin to burn with a bright flame and inflict fire damage on enemies.

  1. Strike of the spirit

With this skill, you strike enemies with a powerful sweeping blow. Buy an upgraded version of Explosive Strike as it will allow you to break rock bridges.

  1. Thorn

This skill will allow you to launch a powerful light lance. This takes a lot of energy.

  1. Underwater breathing

This skill allows you to breathe underwater. Its purchase will greatly facilitate the passage of the “Bright Lakes” location.

Baura limit

You can get to this location from the “Spring Fields”. To do this, you will have to wake up the bear, which blocks the entrance. Use Sweep right in front of his nose. He sneezes and wakes up.

  1. Light burst

Thanks to this skill, you will be able to launch glowing balls into the air. You can find as many as three uses for them – to melt something, launch them at the enemy, or toss yourself up with an “Impulse” in the right direction (as with any other projectile or lamp).

Spring

  1. Attraction

With this skill, you will be able to gravitate towards blue moss or hooks. The tree is located near the exit from the first cave in the “Spring”. To get to this cave, you need to go through the lower gate in the main part of the location.

Bright lakes

You can get to this location from the “Ink Marsh” after you repair the mill.

  1. Underwater dash

This skill will allow you to dash underwater and thus swim faster. You can also break some wooden obstacles and jump up from the water, being near the surface.

Overgrown bowels

You can get to this location from the “Kvolok Hollow”. The path will open when you go in search of the lights.

  1. Flash

When using this skill, you begin to glow and disperse the darkness. For this, your reserves of energy are used. The Flash will come in handy mainly in Overgrown Core and also in the cave in Spring Fields to help moka.

  1. Undermining

With this skill, all of Ori’s attacks deal 25% more damage. Travel to the Silent Forest and take the Trees Keeper side quest.

You will receive a Lifeless Branch to be taken to Tali in the Spring Fields.
