The Redmi Smart Band Pro has a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen with 450 nits of maximum brightness and 282 pixels per inch. The wearable has a 2.5D tempered glass coating. The body of the device is made of polycaprolactam (type of nylon, plastic), reinforced with glass fiber and it can go under 50 meters underwater. The strap, of course, is made of soft silicone.
The smart Band Pro comes with an accelerometer, gyroscope, and PPG heart rate monitor. A light sensor for automatic brightness adjustment of the display is also at hand. The device uses the usual accelerometer, gyroscope, and PPG heart rate monitor.
There is also a light sensor for automatic brightness adjustment of the display. With the sensor, the device can detect more than 110 types of workouts and 15 of those are professional modes, as per Redmi. There is also SpO2 (blood oxygen) tracking. For those unaware, it can track the level of oxygen in your blood. This feature became quite popular last year amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. After all, this is one of the easiest ways to check if your body condition is degrading if you’ve been infected.
All that hardware is powered by a 200 mAh battery that charges over a small magnetic cable. The Redmi Smart Band Pro will last for about 14 days under normal usage or 20 days in power-saving mode. Of course, this is the estimated time. We need to collect users’ feedback to get an average time.
