Can a puzzle game be sexually loaded? Yes, it can. Yes, I had no idea, either.
In the mobile game called Sinful Puzzle: dates Inferno (you can find it on both Google Play and App Store or directly on the Official Website), your character is so bored on what seems like his job, that he starts to fantasize about demon girls (how relatable, right?). At the next second, he wakes up at the gates of Hell greeted by different demons who say something along the lines of “be careful what you wish for”.
From the start, you get a strong feeling that you’re playing a weird but intriguing mix of a dating simulator and a puzzle game where you’re supposed to connect the spheres of the same color to erase them. And it seems like that’s exactly what the developers aimed for. The game turned out to be… interesting.
Developers seem to be answering the question: what if demons are not scary evil creatures, but rather evil seductive girls with few deviations from human standards?
At its core, the game consists of dialogues where you can choose what your character says in between which you solve puzzles to unlock pictures of the demon girls.
The final goal is to reach the Lucifer girl. Presumably, you don’t only need to get enough points by erasing as many spheres as you can, but also you have to use your intelligence and charm in the dialogues.
The game is bright and grips your attention, as it’s certainly a unique approach to take for a puzzle game. The atmosphere of literal hell with demons and fire everywhere is probably something that attracts the players the most. What is more, the fact that you choose the options for dialogues, gives you a sense of control over what’s happening in the game, and this, of course, is a benefit. Besides, the inferno locations look quite unusual and interesting, the artwork is beautiful as well, which makes sense if you think about the fact that such pictures are awards here:
The interface and navigation might be a little confusing for new players at the beginning as there are coins and gems, as well as the ability to upgrade in different sins and ask demons questions, etc. But all these features are thoroughly explained in the beginning, so if you pay attention to what the seductive voice of a demon girl says, you should be just fine.
In order for you to navigate and see your progress, there’s a map of hell, where you can see the unlocked girls. The map doesn’t rotate, but you can scroll up and down to see previous and further levels.
The gameplay might get monotonous with time, but the naughty dialogues are there to spice things up.
Overall the game was received pretty well by the players. The impression was that the game is fun, and the art is beautiful.
All in all, the game will be appealing for 2 categories of gamers: puzzle lovers and fans of dating simulators with juicy pics; the 2 categories of gamers I had no idea intercepted. If you happen to belong to at least one of these categories, give Sinful Puzzle a try, you might find out something interesting about yourself.
