Fans of Konami’s renowned football simulation franchise have been waiting with baited breath on any sort of news about eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer 2021.
This information comes from an Australian Classification website who published an entry titled “eFootball PES 2021 Season Update”. While not officially confirmed by Konami as of yet, there seems to be little room for doubt that this scenario will indeed turn out to be true.
Even more websites have started publishing the same entries and information about the upcoming game, such as this Taiwanese one, discovered by a Twitter user named Cam.
In his tweet , Cam shared the link to said website, together with a very interesting detail extracted from the website’s Excel sheet. According to the information provided, the release date of eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer 2021 is supposedly slated for September 15, 2020.
Now, this could well be a placeholder date only, and given the fact that Konami themselves are yet to officially announce the game, we suggest you take this information with a grain of salt.
However, seeing a new PES game drop in September is to be expected, considering the fact that PES 2020 was released on September 10 last year.
Konami’s football rival – EA – have announced that FIFA 21 will be released on October 9, 2020, which makes this story even more interesting for fans of virtual football, as PES 2021 will have a rather significant head start in terms of playability, provided that its aforementioned release date ends up being correct, of course.
