Though Kuba could not provide any hardware details, the tipster did reveal that the POCO Pods and Redmi Buds 4 Active are essentially the same. Furthermore, these devices were mentioned as India variants, which suggests they will release in the country.

The earbuds themselves kind of resemble the Airpods Pro’s design and even have a similar bottom mesh. The POCO Pods have a Black-coloured body with Yellow rubber ear tips and the charging case has a Black and Yellow colour combination as well. Meanwhile, the Redmi Buds 4 Active are seen in a single colour scheme from head to toe. The same can be said about the charging case, too.
The POCO Pods charging case comes in an oval shape, and the earbuds holster area, where you can safely store and charge the buds, is in Yellow, while the Redmi Buds 4 Active can be seen in Black and Beige colours. The gear has a cutout, probably for a microphone for calls and to give commands to the voice assistant.
We don’t see any physical buttons on the earbuds, and you’ll likely have to rely on gesture controls to pause/play music or take/end calls. The hardware specifications, launch time, and pricing details of these earbuds are still under wraps, but we expect to learn more about them in the coming days.
