Vivaldi has teamed up with popular Swedish carmaker, Polestar, to onboard its full-featured browser onto the Polestar 2. The browser maker made this announcement in a blog post on 22 December 2021. It makes Vivaldi the first-ever Android Automotive OS browser and one of the first fully functional browsers available in a car.

Polestar 2 comes equipped with Android Automotive OS which includes the Google Play Store. Simply launch Google Play Store on the Polestar 2 and search for and install the Vivaldi browser as you would normally do on your mobile device.
Once you install the browser, you can begin to enjoy the same flexibility, functionality, and privacy for which Vivaldi is widely known.
For the sake of safety, you can only use the browser while you’re parked. If you resume driving and try to stream content, only audio-streaming will work.
