Gigabyte today put up an AORUS Gen4 AIC SSD PCIe4.0 solid state drive on its official website, supporting NVMe 1.3, the world’s first PHISON PS5016-E16 main control, with a heat sink.
The 2TB version reads 15000 MB/s sequentially, writes 9500 MB/s sequentially, and reads and writes at 430k/440k at random; the 8TB version reads at 15000 MB/s at all times and 425k/440k at random.
The hard drive uses 96-layer 3D TLC NAND flash memory with a throughput of 800MT/s, provides intelligent active and passive heat dissipation, minimizes noise, and provides an AORUS storage manager to monitor and control the status of the SSD.
