Glory Magic UI 4.0 and EMUI 11 synchronous internal test

follow-up support to upgrade to Hongmeng operating system

Today, at the 2020 Developer Conference held in Songshan Lake, Dongguan, Wang Chenglu, President of Huawei Consumer Business Software Department, delivered a keynote speech entitled “Unlimited Connection Possibilities-Full Scenario Terminal Software Release”. The new EMUI 11 system was released.

Naijatechnews understands that EMUI 11 and Magic UI 4.0 will start the closed beta simultaneously. Among them, Magic UI 4.0 plans to start the internal beta recruitment activity in mid-September. The Honor 30 series and Honor V30 series will be the first batch to be equipped , and subsequent support will beupgraded to Hongmeng OS 2.0.

According to reports, Magic UI 4.0 has major upgrades in distributed technology, UX design, privacy and security protection, and AI wisdom.

The Hongmeng operating system 2.0, which will subsequently support the upgrade, was officially announced this afternoon by Huawei’s consumer business CEO and Huawei’s executive director Yu Chengdong. Yu Chengdong said that the Hongmeng OS 2.0 Beta version for large screens, watches and cars will be launched today, and the mobile phone version will be released in December. In 2021, Huawei smartphones will fully support the Hongmeng OS system version 2.0.

According to Huawei, the Hongmeng OS 2.0 system is the first distributed operating system that is truly built for the full-scenario era. It enables voice interaction through cross-device collaboration, large and small screen interaction, fast network distribution, adaptive UX, visual and utterable AI, Developers open source, etc., add wings to imagination and become a powerful engine for ecological construction.
