Google will launch 2GB broadband in the United States: Gigabit upload, monthly fee of 100 US dollars
Google has now launched the Google Fiber 2 Gig webpage, indicating that it will launch the latest 2GbE Google Fiber in the near future. The download speed can reach 2000Mbps, and the upload speed can reach 1000Mbps. There is no traffic limit and no annual fee agreement . There are no additional fees or any equipment costs, only $100 per month.
Naijatechnews understands that Gigabit Google Fiber charges $70 per month, so the two Gigabit Google Fiber only increases by $30.
Google will be launched first in Huntsville, Alabama, Nashville, Tennessee and other places. Google recommends that users use WIFI6 routers to avoid routers becoming a bottleneck.
At present, the broadband provided by the three major domestic operators is mostly 100M and Gigabit networks. Group networks and enterprise networks with higher bandwidth are expensive types and are less used by ordinary consumers.
On June 11, Speedtest, a foreign network speed measurement company, released a set of data on global network speed rankings, showing the mobile network and fixed broadband speed rankings as of April 2020. The top three broadband speeds are Singapore (198.46 Mbps), Hong Kong (176.70 Mbps), and Thailand (159.87 Mbps), but there is no mainland China in the top ten.
