Huawei and Honor will launch 66W mobile power

Huawei will launch a mobile power bank that supports fast charging for the Mate40 series, with a nominal capacity of 12000mAh, PD protocol supports up to 65W fast charging, SCP protocol Supports up to 66W fast charge.


In addition, the blogger also stated that Honor will also launch a power bank that supports 66W fast charging, and the Honor V40 series will also use 66W fast charging.

It is worth mentioning that the blogger hinted that the Honor V40 series may not use HiSilicon Kirin chips.


Naijatechnews has learned that Huawei previously hinted through EMUI 11 that the Huawei Mate40 series is expected to support wired fast charging up to 66W.

Currently, Huawei supports up to 65W fast charging, and Huawei’s first 65W gallium nitride charging adapter was officially launched last week, supporting Type-A and Type-C dual-port charging, which can charge mobile phones, tablets and PCs.

For other manufacturers, OPPO has gradually decentralized 65W fast charging to the thousand yuan machine. Realme previously officially announced its 125W fast charging technology, while IQOO and Xiaomi can already achieve 120W fast charging and realize mass production, but the corresponding 100 Watt-level mobile power has not been launched.
