Foreign media Huawei Central reported that Huawei EMUI 11 will be released at the 2020 Huawei Developer Conference (HDC). This new version of EMUI 11 will be based on the open source Android 11. Now, there is another interesting news about EMUI 11, which shows that Huawei Mate 40/Pro series will be equipped with two different versions of EMUI.
The news source Evan Blass said that the upcoming Huawei Mate 40 Pro will be equipped with different firmware from the “non-Pro” Huawei Mate 40. Huawei Mate 40 Pro will be equipped with EMUI 11 system based on open source Android 11. On the other hand, Huawei Mate 40 will be equipped with a new version of EMUI 10.X system.

Previously, Huawei used the same version of the EMUI system in the Pro and non-Pro versions of the Mate or P series phones.
