The whistleblower @RODENT950 said that the screen code-named Ocean model is LGD’s 6.67-inch curved screen, with a refresh rate of 90Hz, with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 20-megapixel super wide-angle, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. The screen codenamed Noah model is LGD/BOE 90Hz waterfall screen, the lens is 50 million pixel liquid lens, 80 million pixel ultra-wide-angle movie lens, as well as periscope lens and TOF lens . The screen is a perforated screen with 3D Face ID.
Regarding the processor, Yu Chengdong has announced that the Huawei Mate 40 series is equipped with the Kirin 9000 chip, or the last generation of high-end chips.
Regarding the liquid lens, IT House has reported that Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. applied for a patent entitled “Motor components, camera modules and electronic equipment for driving liquid lenses” on December 25, 2019. The patent was issued in April 2020. Announced on July 7. This solution can be used to drive the motor of the liquid lens to meet performance requirements such as autofocus and/or optical image stabilization, and at the same time improve the reliability of the motor under abnormal working conditions such as impact and drop .
