Liger X and Liger X+ self-balancing scooters
Liger X and X+ electric scooters debut the company’s cutting-edge AutoBalancing technology at the Auto Expo 2023. This feature allows the electric scooters to stand upright while still as well as at low speeds without the rider having to support the vehicle with their feet. The feature is functional even while reversing. The feature has various levels of controllability and can be manually switched off after it has crossed a certain speed. The Liger X twins also have a Learner Mode which limits the scooter’s speed to the level up to which the AutoBalancing technology is still active.
The Liger X and Liger X+ come with a lithium-ion battery pack but the vanilla Liger X gets a removable battery pack. The Liger X’s removable battery pack can be charged up in 3 hours and allows the scooter to go up to a top speed of 65kmph and a claimed range of 60km. The Liger X+ on the other hand gets a fixed battery pack that takes about 4.5 hours to charge up and lends the scooter a claimed range of 100km.
The Liger X twins get the latest connected vehicle features that enables functionality via a companion smartphone app. Features such as live location tracking, battery temperature indicator, towing and accident alerts are available on both scooters. It gets features like alloy wheels, disc brakes, telescopic front suspension, LED lighting and a MID. The electric scooters will be made available in Grey, Polar White, Blue, Titanium and Red colour options and the company will start taking bookings in mid-2023 and commence delivery by the end of the year. There’s still no word on the pricing or other technical specifications of the Liger X and Liger X+.
