Apple has started rolling out an update to the iOS 14.2.1 operating system with a number of fixes that target the iPhone 12 smartphones, in particular the iPhone 12 mini.
After the release of the iPhone 12 mini, there have been quite a few complaints from users who have confirmed that the smartphone on the lock screen is experiencing various sensitivity issues. The iPhone 12 mini doesn’t respond when the user tries to swipe up, turn on the camera, or turn on the flashlight.
It is not clear what exactly caused the problem; however, apparently, Apple found the cause; since the changelog says that now there should be no problems with the responsiveness of the smartphone on the lock screen.
Apple says iOS 14.2.1 will also fix problems with some MMS messages being unable to connect; and fix sound quality issues in some headsets designed for iPhone.
Those wishing to download and install the update can do so from the Software Update menu in the Settings application.
