Lantu Automobile announced its entry into the Dutch market

Dongfeng Motor announced today that its new energy brand Lantu has officially launched in the Dutch market. During the Fully Charged Live Europe auto show in the Netherlands, which kicked off recently, two models of Lantu Motors – Lantu FREE and Lantu Dreamer were exhibited.

According to reports, the Netherlands began to encourage the development of new energy vehicles in 2016 and is currently in a “golden period of rapid growth.” The two models unveiled this time are both local debuts, and the MPV model Lantu Dreamer started sales locally at the same time .

Before the Netherlands, Lantu Automobile has successively entered European countries such as Norway, Finland, and Denmark, and plans to enter European markets such as Germany, France, and Italy in the future. Officials previously stated that Lantu Dreamer has been extensively tested for 100 days+ in Northern Europe, driving a total of 52,200 kilometers, and has developed a new European version of the car based on the aesthetics and usage habits of local users .

According to previous reports, the 2024 Lantu Dreamer will be launched in China on October 12, with prices starting at 339,900 yuan. The car is available in 4 body colors, namely Rising Sun Purple, Xuanying Black, Sun Yao Gold, and Du Ruo White. The length, width and height reach 5315/1985/1800mm, and the wheelbase is 3200mm .

The 2024 Lantu Dreamer PHEV model is equipped with Lanhai Power’s new hybrid engine with a thermal efficiency of 45.18%, which can output a total system power of 420kW and a total system torque of 840N·m. The CLTC fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is 5.36L .

The car is available in pure electric and plug-in hybrid versions. The plug-in hybrid model has a built-in 43-degree large mica battery and has a pure electric range of CLTC of 236km. The CLTC comprehensive range reaches 1231km. The CLTC range of the pure electric model has been increased to 650km.
