N-Power June/July Stipends: 73 Days Since Beneficiaries Last Received Pay
June and July have gone by, and it is now 73 full days since beneficiaries of the Nigerian government’s N-Power scheme last received their monthly stipend of N30, 000 (77.54743 USD).
Naijatechnews gathered from several genuine beneficiaries of the scheme that the last stipend they received was for the month of May, which was paid on the 1st of June 2020 upwards.
N-Power Stipends: Nigerian Minister Finally Speaks On Payment Of Batch A, B Beneficiaries
The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development of Nigeria, Sadiya Farouq has said that “efforts are in high gear to clear the stipends for Batch A and B before onboarding the new set of beneficiaries”.
Farouq made this known in thread tweets on her verified handle on Sunday evening.
The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq, has officially declared the Batch C recruitment portal for N-power closed.
Farouq made the announcement in a series of tweets, disclosing that the Ministry received over five million applications.

The government has a job space for only 400,000 persons.
“The N-Power Batch C application portal closed on Sunday, August 9, 2020, after receiving over 5m applications.
“As we embark on the review process, efforts are in high gear to clear the stipends for Batch A and B before onboarding the new set of beneficiaries,” she tweeted
Meanwhile, the exiting Batch A and B are yet to receive their stipends for two months.
