Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold is coming, folding screen, weighing only 999g
ThinkPad’s official Weibo today released a poster about the ThinkPad X1 Fold foldable laptop, suggesting that the national version of the notebook is coming. The poster shows that the device weighs only 999 grams.
This laptop debuted at CES2020, equipped with a foldable 13.3-inch 2K pOLED display with an aspect ratio of 4:3, equipped with a stand, a docking station and a fixed magnetic Bluetooth Mini folding keyboard that supports wireless charging. The laptop is made of lightweight alloy and carbon fiber, uses Intel’s large and small core design processor and UHD Gen 11 core display, up to 8GB LPDDR4X memory, frequency 4267MHz, up to 1TB PCIe-NVMeM.2 2242 SSD solid state drive. It also uses a unique multi-link torque hinge structure.
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold integrates a 5MP HD RGB camera and an IR camera for facial recognition, stereo speakers with Dolby audio technology, and a 50Wh battery, which guarantees 11 hours of battery life and supports fast charging. In terms of ports, ThinkPad X1 Fold provides USB Type-C Gen1 ports, USB Type-C Gen2 ports, and USB Type-C ports that support DP video transmission. The wireless connection supports WiFi 6 (802.11ax), Bluetooth 5.0 and 5G / LTE / 4G (Cat.20).
The ThinkPad X1 Fold measures 299.4 mm x 236.0 mm x 7.8 mm when opened, and 158.2 mm x 236.0 mm x 27.8 mm with a folding cover, and weighs 999 grams.
IT Home has learned that ThinkPad X1 Fold has been launched on Lenovo’s official website in the United States before and will be listed this fall.
