LG said last week that its dual-screen rotating phone confirmed that it will be called LG Wing. The LG Wing’s main screen is 6.8 inches, and some people speculate that it is the same panel used on LG Velvet. This will give it a resolution of 1080 x 2460 and an aspect ratio of 20.5:9.
Hidden under the main screen is a 4-inch secondary display that can be rotated 90 degrees. When the screen is pulled out, the main display is rotated to landscape, and the combination of the two screens is similar to the letter “T”.
Recently, LG stated that this will be the first product in the company’s new mobile category called “Explorer Project.” LG stated that the goal of these models is to “find new ways to interact with mobile devices, focusing on the changing needs of today’s consumers, and challenging established user specifications.” LG added: “Its most daring, the latest smartphones will provide new, different shapes and mobile experiences, which is impossible with traditional smartphones.”
According to other previous revelations, LG Wing is equipped with Tongxiaolong 765G chipset and Adreno 620 GPU, and has 8GB of storage. LG’s launch event will start at 10 a.m. Eastern Time on September 14 and the price may exceed $878.
