Published

on

The Google ads team is making it compulsory to enable the ads dashboard with a 2-step verification comes by August 11th, 2022.

Here is the notifications we got from the team earlier this evening;

From August 11, 2022 on, you will need to enable 2-Step Verification.

To improve the security of your account, Google has automatically enabled the 2-Step Verification setting on your Google Ads account.

You will soon need to have 2-Step Verification enabled on the email address you use to log in to your Google Ads account (556-385-6258) This setting improves your account security by protecting you against password theft.

If you already have 2-Step Verification enabled, no action is required from you.

Users with admin access to your account can manage multi-factor authentication settings in the “Account Access” page in Google Ads.
