MediaTek today launched the Helio G95 processor for the gaming smartphone market.
MediaTek Helio G95 provides faster performance and richer features, such as advanced multi-camera support-up to 4 cameras, built-in AI processing unit (APU). Provides dual wake word support, and can realize HDR10 standard display, which can be enhanced to the quality close to HDR10 + in real time.
“MediaTek continues to improve the powerful performance of G-series gaming chips, and MediaTek Helio G95 is our most powerful gaming chip so far .” said Li Yanzhi, deputy general manager of MediaTek’s wireless communications business unit.
MediaTek Helio G95 adopts an eight-core architecture, integrating a pair of Arm Cortex-A76 CPUs running at a frequency of up to 2.05GHz, plus six Cortex-A55 energy-efficient CPUs , and an upgraded Arm Mali-g76 MC4 with a running frequency of up to 900 MHz.
MediaTek’s new chip provides AI super-resolution display, enabling excellent video calls and video streaming on various platforms such as Netflix, Hotstar and Amazon Prime. It can support video quality from 360p to 720p HD resolution in real time, reducing network bandwidth by up to 75%, without any perceptible difference in quality.
MediaTek Helio G95 supports FHD+ 90fps screen, supports up to 64 million pixel camera, adopts four-pixel technology, can obtain low-light effect when shooting at night. The chip supports real-time portrait blur depth engine, AI-FD (fast and accurate AI face detection engine), video encoding and decoding of the strongest light, warpage, 3DNR, 4K 30fps, and AI camera enhancement with integrated APU .
Naijatechnews has learned that MediaTek Helio G95 will be carried in the smartphone launched in September this year, and the official did not disclose the specific manufacturer.
