Microsoft Corporation recently announced an investment plan in Chile called “Transforma Chile”. This is Microsoft’s largest investment in the 28 years of operations in Chile. This investment will build a data center in Chile. In addition, Microsoft has also provided a skills training program in Chile to as many as 180,000 people. According to IDC research, Microsoft, partners, and cloud service users will jointly create approximately $11.3 billion in investment and provide approximately 51,000 new jobs in Chile in the future.
