Microsoft will end support for Microsoft accounts and other services in Internet Explorer on November 13. Prior to this, Microsoft confirmed that it will gradually discontinue support for Internet Explorer 11 in the next few months.

Foreign media obtained a copy of an email sent by Microsoft to companies and organizations, warning that Internet Explorer will lose support for Microsoft accounts and applications/services on November 13, 2020.
Microsoft stated that starting from November 13, 2020, it will terminate the support for “My Apps”, “My Account”, “My Access” and “My Group” of Internet Explorer. The company recommends that users use Microsoft Edge, Chrome or Firefox.
“You are receiving this email because our report shows that your organization may be using Internet Explorer to access’My Apps’,’My Account’,’My Access’ and’My Groups’ ,” wrote in the email.
Naijatechnews media understands that Microsoft is currently sending the above emails to some customers of organizations with active Microsoft 365 subscriptions. “When this change is implemented, users will no longer be able to use Internet Explorer to access’My Application’,’My Account’,’My Access’ and’My Group’,” the company said in an email.
Internet Explorer is not as popular as it used to be, and Microsoft is now focusing on the Chromium-based Edge browser. In August, Microsoft confirmed that it will give up support for Office 365, OneDrive, Outlook, etc., for users still using IE browser 11 in 2021.
If users want to use Internet Explorer to visit old websites, Microsoft said that they can use the new Internet Explorer traditional mode in Microsoft Edge. This feature is designed to help organizations and users access old websites designed for Microsoft’s traditional browsers.
