Microsoft Surface Pro 8 is said to be a small upgraded version of Surface Pro 7. It will be equipped with Intel Tiger Lake CPU, and the design is almost unchanged. It is expected that the base model of Microsoft Surface Pro 8 will start with Intel Core i3, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of solid-state hard drive storage, but the tech giant may be developing another base model with 8GB of RAM.
Currently, the basic version of Surface Pro 7 is only equipped with 4GB of RAM, Intel Core i3 and 128GB of SSD storage space. At present, it seems that Microsoft has already equipped the new low-end Surface Pro 8 with 8GB of RAM, Intel Core i3 and 128GB of storage space.
Previously, the only models with 8GB memory were Intel Core i5 and Core i7. To get 8GB of RAM, Microsoft customers have to upgrade to models with Core i5 or i7 CPUs.
It should be noted that the plan will always change, and the Surface Pro 8 base model may still be equipped with 4GB of memory as previously rumored.
Surface Pro 8 memory storage more options:
- Core i3, 4GB/8GB RAM, 128GB SSD
- Core i5, 8GB RAM, 128GB /256GB SSD
- Core i7, 16GB RAM, 256GB /512GB /1TB SSD
