September 10 news, according to Windowslatest reports, Microsoft recently officially released Windows 10 KB4571756 patch. After installing the update, some users found that there were problems running the Windows Subsystem (WSL2) of Linux, while other users reported problems when installing patches .
Users stated that they would encounter an “Element not found” error when trying to run WSL, and some users reported general installation problems :
“After installing KB4571756, my PC also got an error. I deleted the docker folder in AppData, then uninstalled and reinstalled docker, but it didn’t solve it. It finally worked after I uninstalled the latest Windows update (In this case, docker is associated with WSL)” one user pointed out.
Naijatechnews understands that users can uninstall this update to solve the problem of WSL , and Microsoft currently does not understand the problem of WSL, so this problem has not been fixed.
Solution:
Settings-Click “Update and Security” in the left column-click “View Update History”-click “Uninstall Update” to open the “Control Panel” window-find the update, and then click the uninstall button- Reboot.
If there are still problems with WSL, users can try to reinstall the release version they are using.
