Every major Windows 10 update will be accompanied by some problems, causing all PCs to not get the update immediately, and the May 2020 update is no exception. Even the most recent Microsoft devices, such as Surface Laptop 3 or Surface Pro X, are not allowed to receive the update until August due to compatibility issues, and for devices that use Conexant audio drivers, there is still an upgrade block.
As you may know, Microsoft is now preparing to release the October version of the 2020 Windows 10 update, which should begin rolling out to specific users next month. This minor version is already available for Windows Insiders in the Dev development and release preview channel, and it brings minor improvements to the Start menu, taskbar, and notifications.
