New form of mobile phone: a total of eight cameras on four corners

A mobile phone design patent from China Lens Technology (Changsha) Co., Ltd. The patent shows that the four corners of the back of the phone have 2 cameras and 1 flash.

IT Home understands that Lens Technology is a mobile phone glass manufacturing company that provides glass for many smart mobile terminals including iPhone. The company has supplied products to Apple, Samsung and Huawei. For example, the screen of the Apple Watch is from Lens Technology.

Lens Technology registered a very outstanding design patent at the end of May 2020 and was approved on October 2, 2020. The patent is also included in the WIPO database and has now been published.

The patent uses a very “alternative” design, with two cameras on each corner of the four corners, a total of eight cameras, the front panel design is unknown, and it is suspected to be an off-screen camera.

It is worth mentioning that the registration of a patent by Lens Technology does not mean that the company will produce such mobile phones. It may only be for patent reserve. At present, the patent is protected worldwide.
