After the preparation, the list will be uploaded on the Nigerian Immigration portal (www.immigration.gov.ng) portal.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for further screening/aptitude test. We will update this page and notify all readers via email immediately after the official announcement is made.
Very Important! Take Note, Don’t be a Victim
When it comes to Immigration Recruitment Form, the word to keep in mind is free. Information about NIS job vacancies in the government or the Nigeria Postal Service is free and available to everyone. The submission of applications is also free. Federal agencies never charge application fees or guarantee the hiring of a person.
There are scammers who lie about the availability of federal job vacancies in Nigeria. For example, you might think you are responding to an advertisement for an immigration job in your area. You call and they tell you that you meet the requirements – all you have to do is pay application fee or pay for an EXPO (exact screening questions) that will help you get a high score on an aptitude test. They may tell you that if they do not pass the test they will return the money. This is a SCAM, don’t fall for it.
However, if anyone tells you about the new job intake from Nigerian Immigration, make sure you check our website to be sure or nisrecruitment portal @ www.immigration.gov.ng to determine if the hiring is actually being done and a test is required to establish eligibility.

NIS has Warn Nigerians About Fake Recruitment Sites
Nigeria’s Immigration Service on Tuesday advised Nigerians to be careful of fake recruitment sites operated by fraudsters.
A statement issued by the NIS Public Relations Officer, Sunday James in Abuja on Tuesday said that General Manager of Immigration, Muhammad Babanband, had given attention that it was operated by fraudulent recruitment sites.
“This site is the www.mediangr.com,” he said.
James said that this service made every effort to highlight the people behind the fake advertisements and therefore advised the public to stop these sites from providing protection.
He said that there was official communication about the problems associated with the official forum where advertisers had agreed to the national daily and the official website.
“Agency does not include agents or people in this case, anyone must be informed of the closest NIS formation about recruitment to anyone.
“Agency will continue to provide original values and services to the general public and each recruitment exercise will be publicly announced in accordance with approved government policies,” James said.
