OnePlus Ace Pro opens ColorOS 13.0 Android 13 upgrade public beta recruitment

Naija Tech News on October 24 that OnePlus Ace Pro is now recruiting for the public beta version of the ColorOS 13 system upgrade in advance, which will end on October 25. It is expected to be reviewed in batches within 5 working days after the recruitment ends.

The upgrade method is directly pushed by the system. After successful registration and approval, you will receive push notifications one after another. Please refer to the early adopter application interface displayed on the mobile phone for the review results.

【How to apply】

1. Please make sure that your mobile phone version has been upgraded to the basic version A.10 or A.11 (version number viewing method: Settings > About This Machine > Version Information > Version Number)

2. Please click “Settings > About This Device > Top Version Information (above “Phone Name”) > Settings button in the upper right corner > Early adopters application > Upgrade public beta” on the mobile phone, and then follow the prompts to apply. Due to the characteristics of the public beta, it is recommended that you fill in your real mobile phone number when registering, so as to deal with the public beta feedback in a timely manner.

3. After submitting the application, please be patient! The staff will review in batches within 5 working days after the recruitment ends. The public beta version will be pushed in batches after the review is completed. The review results will be displayed on the early adopter application interface of the mobile phone.

【Precautions for application】

1. Before the upgrade, please back up your important personal data in advance to avoid data loss due to incompatibility or other situations after the upgrade.

2. There are currently many commonly used third-party applications that are incompatible with Android 13. After upgrading Android 13, there may be situations where third-party applications cannot be used normally (such as flashback, freeze, black screen, power consumption, etc.). The store tries to update the app to the latest version.

3. Within two days after the upgrade, a series of adaptation and optimization actions will be performed in the background of the system, which may cause the phone to become hot, freeze, and consume power quickly. It is recommended that you restart the phone after the screen is off after charging for 2 hours, or it will recover by itself after a period of normal use.
