NTN House News, September 27 During the 2020 Beijing International Automobile Exhibition, Volvo’s high-performance electric vehicle brand Polestar Polestar officially announced that Polestar Precept will be put into mass production. According to Naija Tech News, Polestar Precept will be produced in a new factory in China, which will not only achieve carbon neutrality, but also become one of the smartest and most interconnected car production facilities in the world.

There are currently three models under the Polestar brand, including the high-performance electric-drive hybrid GT coupe Polestar 1, the pure electric high-performance models Polestar 2 and the Polestar Precept. The first two models have already been mass-produced.

Polestar Precept was first unveiled at the beginning of this year. The wheelbase is 3.1 meters, which is slightly longer than Tesla Model S. Influenced by Nordic elements, Polestar Precept emphasizes environmental protection and minimalist aesthetic design to reflect the three main brands considered by the brand. Value: “Pureness, Progress and Performance”. For example, the seat back of Polestar Precept is made of a composite material that is 50% lighter than traditional plastics, and it can also “reduce plastic waste by up to 80%.” Another example is that the seat covering material is made of recyclable plastic bottles. The chair cushions and headrests are made of recyclable cork vinyl; the carpet is made of recycled fishing nets. However, the official has not yet announced the power information of Polestar Precept.
