Several reports in the past said that the Realme GT Neo 5 might launch in the month of January or early February. However, citing industry sources, Pricebaba reports that the smartphone will arrive globally at the MWC 2023, which is scheduled to take place between February 27th and March 2nd in Barcelona.

It is most likely confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will be available in two battery variants. There will be a 5,000mAh battery variant that will support 150W fast charging and the other with a 4,600mAh battery, which will support the new 240W fast charging tech.

In terms of display, the Realme GT Neo 5 could feature a 6.7-inch 1.5K OLED screen that will come equipped with a 144Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is expected to come with a triple rear camera setup, which will have a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. There will be a 16MP front camera for selfies.

The smartphone is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC that will be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. It will run on Android 13-based Realme UI 4.0 skin out of the box.
