Redmi K30 Extreme Commemorative Edition does not support MIUI 12 cross-screen

not compatible with MTK platform


On the evening of August 11, Xiaomi held a new product launch conference for its tenth anniversary. It not only released the Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition, Redmi K30 Extreme Commemorative Edition, Xiaomi Transparent TV and many other new hardware products, but also official Announcing a new feature of Xiaomi MIUI12 system-Xiaomi Wonderful Multi-screen Collaboration.

The first batch of devices that support Xiaomi Mixiangxiang cross-screen collaboration is the Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition and Mi Notebook Pro 15 2020 models. Currently, Redmi K20 Pro and Mi 9 Pro also support this feature. When a user asked when the Redmi K30 Extreme Commemorative Edition supports this function in the MIUI community, the reply is that the machine does not support this function temporarily. The reason is that it is not compatible with the MTK platform due to the self-developed algorithm (Redmi K30 Extreme Commemorative Edition). The version is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 1000 + processor).

The notebook supports dual-screen simultaneous opening of the mobile phone and multi-tasking processor.
