The video shows the display is completely shattered. The explosion appears to have happened on the back panel near the battery. We can see the back panel separating from the screen and the battery popping out. The reasons behind the Redmi Note 11T Pro catching fire are undetermined at the moment, and the company has not yet commented on the same.
Another Xiaomi phone exploded
Alleged Redmi Note 11T Pro has exploded in China. The video clip posted shows the phone has been damaged completely and the blast appears to have happened around the battery area. The back panel and the main screen are separated and it doesn’t appear the phone can be repaired. Luckily, no one seems to be hurt because of the blast at the moment. The source of the video clip is also unknown at the moment, but was shared on Twitter via a user named Piyush Bhasarkar (@TechKard).
