While the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition update is already out, there are still many Xiaomi devices that are yet to receive MIUI 12.5 in all markets. One of such is Redmi Note 7 Pro. The phone was updated to MIUI 12.5 in China at the end of June. Now, the company has started seeding out this update in other markets.

The Redmi Note 7 Pro is one of the best selling smartphones of its time. It was the first phone in the segment to arrive with a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor. The device has now started getting the MIUI 12.5 update in India.
MIUI 12.5 was introduced at the Mi 11 launch event in late December 2020. It is a minor upgrade for devices running MIUI 12 with some meaningful changes.
This software update for the Redmi Note 7 Pro in India arrives with build number V12.5.1.0.QFHINXM. Like any other OTA system update, it is being rolled out in batches. Hence, it will take days to reach every unit in the country.
