Reliance Jio 5G Upgrade data pack details
The new Jio Rs 61 prepaid recharge pack (via ET) comes with 6GB of high-speed 4G data. The pack will also enable users to enjoy high-speed 5G data. The pack is applicable on a bunch of existing Jio plans, such as the Rs 119 prepaid recharge plan, Rs 149 prepaid recharge plan, Rs 179 prepaid recharge plan, and Rs 209 prepaid recharge plan.

By recharging their existing data plan with the Rs 61 Upgrade data pack, users will be able to enjoy unlimited 5G data on their devices. Unlimited 5G data, however, is fairly restricted for now, as it is applicable only in cities where Jio has launched its Jio True 5G network and where the users have already been invited to the Jio Welcome offer, as per the official listing found on the telco’s website.
Jio 5G vs Airtel 5G: data packs
Comparing the new Jio 5G Upgrade data pack to the competition, the Bharti Airtel upgrade plan is priced at Rs 65, while Vodafone Idea is charging Rs 58 for the same. So, Reliance Jio’s data pack sits right in the middle. As for the 4G data benefits, Jio is offering the most amount of 4G data (6GB), while Airtel is offering 4GB of 4G data and Vodafone Idea is offering 3GB of 4G data.
