And finally, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7+ are now official with 120Hz refresh rate, S Pen support, 8MP front-facing camera, great audio, video capabilities, and it is powered by Snapdragon 865+ 7nm SoC with up to 8GB RAM.
The South Korean tech giant, Samsung is among the top best tablet makers in the world and when it comes to Android Tablet, they are among the fewest. Anyways, in the real world, Apple’s iPad Pro and Microsoft’s Surface are the real competitors.
It is quite unbelievable that Android tablets might not take the number one spot on the best tablets, but Samsung keeps doing its possible best to introduce its latest high-end Android tablets.
During Samsung’s Unpacked event, the company announced five devices, and the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ are the first 5G tablets in the US. These tablets run on Android UI customized for productivity.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 might be the smaller, and cheapest among the two, but the Galaxy Tab S7 boasts of an 11-inch WQXGA 120Hz LTPS TFT display, brighter 500 nits, 2560 x 1600 pixel screen resolution. Samsung used an LCD display, instead of the AMOLED.
On the other end, Samsung used a 12.4-inch (2800 x 1752 pixel) WQXGA+ 120Hz Super AMOLED display and 420 nit brightness. Both models will be available in silver, black, or bronze this fall.
For the first time, Samsung is using a 120hz refresh rate on its tablet lineup. The Galaxy Tab S7 measures 6.3mm thickness, where the Wi-Fi weighs 498g, 500g for LTE, and 502g for the 5G variant.
While the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus is slimmer at 5.7mm thickness and weighs 575g. These tablets targets productivity markets, but the 16:10 aspect ratio, makes them better for watching video.
Both devices come with a 13-megapixels rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash, and 5-megapixels 123° ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture. There is an 8-megapixels front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

Samsung is powering both models with Qualcomm’s latest chips, the Octa-Core Snapdragon 865+ 7nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 650 GPU, 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB / 512GB storage. You can easily expand any of the memory up to 1TB with microSD.
It runs on Android 10 with One UI out of the box. The Galaxy Tab S7 comes with a lesser 8,000mAh battery but supports 15 hours of video and just 1hour (16 hours) less than the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus, which is using a 10,090mAh battery, both with 45W Fast Charging tech.
Another major difference is the biometric sensor, Samsung used a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the Galaxy Tab S7, and in-display one for the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus. They come with support for Quad speakers tuned by AKG, Dolby Atmos.
Similar to its predecessor, both tablet arrives with an S Pen in the box with ultra-low latency, charging via its magnetic attachment and Air actions for quick control.
Samsung also worked with Microsoft to integrate Word, Excel, and PowerPoint into the Tab S7 and S7+ so you have better productivity apps built-in.

For connectivity, both models will be available in Wi-Fi or cellular versions, to complete with millimeter-wave and sub-6 5G connectivity. Like the Tab S6, both lack a headphone jack, unfortunately.
In order to enjoy more desktop-like experience when you’re using a keyboard case, both tablet models will support Samsung’s DeX interface. Anyways, the company mentioned that later this year, the Galaxy Tab S7 can double as a secondary display for your Windows PC.
For pricing, the Galaxy Tab S7 costs $649.99, and Galaxy Tab S7 Plus goes for $849.99. These high-end tablets will roll out beginning from August 6th in select European markets and in Fall 2020 in the US.
For more productivity, Samsung is offering an optional keyboard case for both tablets, $199.99 for Galaxy Tab S7, and $229.99 for the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus that allows you to use them as a traditional laptop.
