According to a foreign media Variety report, game maker Sega will cooperate with 1212 Entertainment and Wild Sheep Content to launch a new live-action movie based on the “Dragon” series of games. Related agencies are currently looking for script writers, and the details of the work have not been disclosed.
Officially, “Like a Dragon” provides us with a new place to set up fascinating stories and complicated characters in a unique environment that audiences rarely saw before. The legend of Kiryu Kazuma has inherent film appeal. It mixes action and humor, has multiple integrated story lines, and a journey of redemption.
The first film adaptation of the series was “The Prologue to the Dragon” in 2006, and the official release of “Theatrical Version of the Dragon” a year later.
“Long” is Sega’s most popular series of games except “Sonic”. It was first released on the PS2 platform in 2005, and a large number of derivative works have since been launched.
